This article studies the effect of changes in Egyptian’s hygienic habits during the COVID-19 pandemic on the spreading rate of enteric viruses in wastewater. It found that the pandemic might have motivated improvements in hygienic habits which indirectly led to the decrease of other viruses (such as Hepatitis A) in wastewater.
